Unique Jobs Require Extra Attention

This is a shirt we did for a unit in Camp Phoenix Afghanistan (near Kabul). We have done this several times over the years and typically print for various units once or twice a year. This particular order included t-shirts, full zip hooded sweatshirts and "hoodies". The weather is similar to ours this time of year so it is getting cooler as they head into the winter.
The time difference is 10.5 hours so communication is typically done through email but we have had instances where we receive a phone call right when we open at 8:00 a.m. The time would be 6:30 p.m. over there but as you probably know, they operate on a 24/7 basis so it isn't that big of a deal. When talking on the phone there is a short delay so you have to talk and wait a couple of seconds for them to respond on the other end. After all, it
literally is halfway around the world!
Shipping the order through commercial shippers (UPS, FedEx, etc) is very expensive so we ship to an APO address. This is a stateside military address to which the USPS ships the packages and the military finishes delivering to the final destination overseas. It is much less expensive as the only cost is the stateside shipping. It takes anywhere from 10-20 days transit time.
We are proud supporters of the U.S. Military!
